"Poetry is generally perceived today as a sentimental and overly romantic art that is out of reach of the person on the street. I believe that poetry could experience something of a renaissance if this paradigm were to shift, this was my intention with '20-1-07' in the intent exhibition.
I wanted to present poetry in a different form and an unusual context that would interest people enough to be open to the text. If they didn't initially know it was poetry, then their response would be free of their preconceptions, giving the piece an opportunity to speak to them."
"...while in an appropriately low tech way Lachlan Pierce and Mark Niehus show that writing can be a strong part of an exhibition as well as giving you something to hold in your hand besides a parking ticket."
